The Conscious Investor Method

3 steps to identify great share market investments

Thank you for buying my book!

I wrote it to help fellow investors improve their returns using the Conscious Investor Method — the same methodology used by Teaminvest members, whom I coach. It has made a significant difference to my own returns and to those of many members.

Of course, your results will depend on how well you manage your emotions, how diligently you apply the method, and on market sentiment itself. Please undertake your own due diligence on the material presented and any companies discussed.

If you've found this page, you're clearly after more — so welcome, and well done for digging deeper.

The ARB Case Study

Throughout the book, I explain the three key financial statements and the ratios every investor should understand. To bring these to life, I use Australian vehicle accessory manufacturer ARB Corporation Ltd as a case study — their financials are refreshingly straightforward.

Note that ARB's figures update twice a year: interim results at the end of December, and annual results at the end of June.

Total return should be 6.7% (4.0% dividend + 2.7% retained growth), not 10.7%, which double counts the dividend (paid out of earnings).

TNE's daily turnover of 740K shares out of 372M ordinary shares is 0.2%, not 20%. So 99.8% remain passive.

Table 9 quotes ARB's EPS & SPS as 1.40¢ & 7.642¢ per share. They should be $1.40 and $7.642 respectively.
